Model – LVTP-5 AFV Club

The model was made straight from the box and then equipped with front and rear machine gun stations protected by sandbags. Painting involved using the ‘hair spray’ technique to produce a wet and dry look to the slab sides. Numerous figures were added to the roof – fuel tanks in the belly of the vehicle made it very dangerous to ride inside as hitting a mine could quickly cause a fire or internal explosion. The roof, even though exposed to the sun , monsoon weather and enemy fire, was preferable to riding inside.
