IPMS Model Club which meets on the second Thursday of the month. There is a good representation by armour modellers at these meetings, most of whom are MAFVA members. The club displays at local and national shows and hosts its own local “Model Bonanza” model show each January. Activities include visits to and by other model clubs, demonstrations and guest speakers. It is stressed that you do not have to be a IPMS member to attend, though an annual club subscription fee is payable.
GRANTHAM LIGHT ARMOURED DIVISION (GLAD)
Radio control tank club in Grantham. We hire a hall either the first or the second Sunday each month and lay out a 10M x 8m artificial grass floor area and put out a forest and some buildings for the tanks to drive round and battle against each other. This all takes place in a heated social club hall with toilets, bar, tea and coffee facilities. The door opens at 10.00 till 16.30 on the day

GLASGOW MINIATURE ARMOUR GROUP.
The Miniature Armour Group would like to welcome new members and visitors to their club. It is an informal group of modellers who build military equipment in all scales, dating from the First World War to the present day.
They meet the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month from 7.00pm to 9.30pm. The venue is the Govanhill Neighbourhood Centre, 8 Daisy St, Govanhill, Glasgow. We will also attend the MAFVA Nationals in Cambridge and share the Scottish MAFVA Display Stand there and would like to invite any Scottish MAFVA members to display their models on this stand.
We meet on the second Thursday of each month starting at 8 PM in a room upstairs at the Victoria Hotel on Cavendish street Keighley. We cater for all kinds of plastic kit building we have members regularly building aircraft AFVs, cars, motor bikes, trucks, boats and trains. We attend the local railway show, Huddersfield (IPMS), Evington (battle north) and Telford (IPMS Modelworld shows). Our club is affiliated to IPMS but you do not need to be a IPMS member to join.
